The VA Northern California Health Care System was honored this week to serve Mr. Melvin Fisher.  Mr. Fisher was a sailor on the USS Whitney on December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor.  Mr. Fisher went underway on the USS Indiana as it made its way through the Panama Canal and on to New Caledonia.  We honor Mr. Fisher’s service and dedication on this day, Pearl Harbor Day, 2012.
