Flu Shots Are Here!

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

As of October 1, VANCHCS is administering flu shots at each of our clinics. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year. You may be able to pass on the flu to someone else one day before and five days after you know you are sick. Some people, especially young children and people with weakened immune systems, might be able to infect others for an even longer time. Find out more at publichealth.va.gov/flu.
