The VA Northern California Health Care System is happy to announce the grand opening of the new Women’s Health Clinic at Sacramento VA Medical Center to be held Monday, April 22 12:30 p.m. at the Sacramento VA Medical Center 10535 Hospital Way, Mather Ca. The new flagship clinic offers women Veterans in the Sacramento region a place to come and have all of their health care needs met in a relaxing and re-energizing environment.

The new clinic will open for appointments this month. The number of women Veterans in Northern California who use VA medical services is growing by 8.5 percent per year, mostly in the Sacramento Valley area, and the goal of the new clinic is to be a comprehensive primary care clinic which will serve the 1,200 women patients currently being seen at the Mather facility and will expand to meet the growing needs of the community. Services offered at the clinic will include primary care, nutrition, pharmacy, mental health, uro-gynecology, mammography and a robust Women’s Health Social Work program along with community outreach activities and Telehealth services.

In order to serve women Veterans efficiently, the clinic will be open 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 916-561-7487 or toll free 877-780-0555.

All are welcome at the grand opening Monday, April 22 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Women’s Health Clinic located between the coffee shop and Primary Care on the first floor of Building 650.
