MHICM is a voluntary recovery focused outpatient program which provides community based intensive treatment for Veterans with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are provided following the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Model of Care. The MHICM team meets with Veterans in the community, in their homes, and in our offices to help Veterans meet treatment goals established by the Veteran and the team. MHICM staff are stationed at the Fairfield and McClellan clinics. If you have a Veteran who may benefit from MHICM services and meets the eligibility requirements, please refer the Veteran to the MHICM program using the MHICM consult in CPRS.
