The Center for Rehabilitation and Extended Care (CREC), a VA Community Living Center (CLC), is a 120-bed, state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of extended care services for Veterans who require inpatient care for their specific medical needs. The CREC is located adjacent to the Martinez Outpatient Clinic.

From Highway 4 West
Take the Pine Street/Center Avenue exit. Turn left over the freeway and turn left again at the second light onto Muir Road. Continue on Muir Road for approximately 1/2 mile. The entrance to the Martinez VA Campus is located on the right. As you enter the campus, the CREC will be located on the right.
From Highway 4 East
Take the Pine Street/Center Avenue exit. Turn right and take an immediate left at the first light onto Muir Road. Continue on Muir Road for approximately 1/2 mile.

Food and Refreshments
Visitors are welcome to eat in the CREC cafeteria/canteen, which is located in the main entrance hallway. We offer a variety of hot and cold entrees, beverages and desserts. Personal grooming items and snacks are also available. Vending machines, located just outside the cafeteria/canteen, are available 24 hours a day.
